FlexcutTM 3-inch Drawknife

The 3-inch drawknife was designed for
fan-carving with FlexcutTM Tool Company Inc. Because of the single-beveled cutting edge, the flat back of the knife has the
advantage of guiding the blade along the white cedar fiber.
The drawknife with handles on both
sides, helps to lever through a pocket of pitch or dry cells
if necessary.
The thinness of the cutting blade is
advantageous when slicing very thin feathers. The slices
will move forward and prevent the knife from binding in the
wood.
The 3-inch drawknife is also
useful for debarking walking sticks and roughing out in-the-round
carvings.
